Chad Spencer
President & Owner
Chad Spencer graduated from Michigan State University in 1991 with a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Personnel Administration. He graduated from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School in 1994 and has been a licensed attorney for over 20 years. Chad is the president and owner of the agency. He is a licensed Property and Casualty insurance agent as well as Life insurance agent.
Lonn Spencer

Lonn Spencer attended Michigan State University from 1965-1967. He joined American National Bank in 1968, becoming Branch Manager in 1969 and later becoming Assistant Vice-President in charge of the Athens branch and of the McCamly Street branch. He obtained his Real Estate Broker’s license in June, 1975 and left the bank to open his real estate and insurance business. Lonn was a licensed Property and Casualty insurance agent as well as Life insurance agent. Lonn passed away in January 2010, after faithfully serving the agency’s customers for almost 35 years.
Karen Brouse
Property and Casualty Agent
Karen Brouse formerly worked for Southern Michigan Bank and Trust, joined the agency in 1999 as a customer service representative and now is currently the office manager. Karen is a licensed Property and Casualty agent.
Susan Spencer

Susan Spencer attended Michigan State University from 1965 – 1967. She began working in the agency in 1977 and was a licensed Property and Casualty insurance agent. During her years working with her husband, Lonn, she served as the agency’s vice-president and treasurer. Susan retired at the end of 2011 after faithfully serving the agency’s customers for nearly 35 years.
Melissa Tetloff
Property and Casualty Agent
Melissa Tetloff formerly worked for a physician in Battle Creek as their office manager, and certified medical biller, she joined the agency in 2013. Melissa is a licensed Property and Casualty agent.
